If you are travelling to Exeter by trunk road from South or North Devon it is recommended that you follow these roads to the M5 motorway and proceed to junction 30, the Exeter Services. Leave the motorway at this junction and take the A379 road signposted to Exeter and Dawlish. After passing under two bridges take the slip road to the left signposted Dawlish and, keeping to the inside lane after merging with the old bypass, continue to Countess Wear roundabout.

If travelling from or through Exeter follow the signs to Topsham, which will eventually bring you to Countess Wear roundabout.

At the roundabout, recognizable by its profusion of traffic lights, take the exit signposted Topsham, and proceed along Topsham Road, passing under the M5 motorway just before entering Topsham itself.

Continue until you reach the mini-roundabout at a four-way junction and take the sharp left into Station Road, signposted "All Routes". Follow Station Road for approximately 200 yds then turn right, immediately before the level crossing, into Holman Way. Follow Holman Way until you reach the mini-roundabout at the junction with the Strand, the Lighter Inn is across the junction on your right, the Steam Packet Inn immediately on your left.

Proceed across the junction taking the road on the far left, the Strand, and follow this road almost to its end until you arrive at the last house on the right. Reka Dom is the large white house on your left.
